Several Versatec collegues have worked recently on an interesting project for TAQA.
Titel of the project:
Reviewing and updating offshore Operating Manuals for TAQA Energy B.V.
Company profile
TAQA is an energy company that operates worldwide and is listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX). Its headquarters are in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. TAQA has companies in the United Arab Emirates, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Canada, the United States, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Ghana, India and Oman.
The challenge
TAQA has asked Versatec to update, rearrange and revise its Operating manuals. So, these manuals are in line with the reclassification and revision of the SOPs and can be used for the training of operators and maintenance personnel as part of the competence development program.
The solution
- A new reclassification of the volumes and chapters resulting in less manuals
- Unambiguous design per platform
- Updated and connected to the SOPs, P&ID, etc. and Tier 1 documents
- Less pages, we compressed the whole content of the manuals by separating generical information from specific information, resulting in lower maintenance cost of the manuals
The renewed manuals are now in use of the TAQA competence management system.
