Right from the start of the projects in 2017 Versatec was involved the Borssele Alpha and Beta projects at the HSM yard in Schiedam.

The projects comprised the engineering, construction, installation and commissioning of two Offshore High Voltage SubStations (66/220kVAC – 700MW each) for TenneT.

The Alpha platform has now been in operation since April 2020. And its sister platform Beta, was installed at sea in the spring of 2020 and is scheduled to be Ready for Operation in the autumn of the same year.

Versatec was responsible for the Completion Management as well as the Commissioning Procedures for both platforms.
