The Technical Safety Engineer must have the expertise to:
- Carry out risk assessments e.g. Bowties, HAZIDs, HAZOPs, LOPA and SIL.
- Update Health and Safety Documents (Reports on Major Hazards) including Quantitative Risk Analyses (QRA), including Fire & Explosion, Blowout, Personnel Transfer risk assessments.
- Participate in due diligence studies.
- Provide process safety support to clients.
- Develop HSE related documentation, e.g. philosophies, reports, etc.
Your Profile
- You have a bachelor or master’s degree in Process, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Or you are graduated as Engineer for Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) with focus on process, electrical and machine safety (including ATEX).
- You have at least five years’ experience in a comparable position in the process industry.
- Preferably you are Functional Safety Engineer certified by TÜV, or equivalent.
- You have an excellent knowledge of the English and Dutch language (in writing and verbally).
- You are flexible, willing to learn, and able to work in a team as well as individually.
- You have good analytical skills.
- You are able to understand and navigate your way through technical documentation e.g. P&IDs and Cause & Effect diagrams.
- You are computer literate and familiar with MS Office.
