Versatec now IRO member

Versatec Energy is happy to announce that it is now a member of the IRO, the Association of Dutch Suppliers in the Oil and Gas Industry. Members cover all activities involved in the supply industry, such as engineering, field development, pipeline installation, maintenance, manufacturing and material & equipment supply, onshore as well as offshore. IRO represents the interests of its 430 member companies towards the government and prospective customers, facilitates export promotion and subsidies for innovative technology.

Versatec Completes Etzel Gas Storage Commissioning Project

A Statoil executive praised the successful commissioning execution done by Versatec Energy and IV Oil & Gas for the Etzel Gas Lager (EGL) Gas Quality Improvement Project in Germany. He also pointed out that this project was rated, in terms of its Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), as one of the top three Statoil projects executed over the past 15 years.


Viewport Public Demo at SPE ATCE 2014 in Amsterdam

Versatec Energy presented a public demo of Viewport, the cross-application tool designed exclusively for Oil & Gas (O&G), Energy and Marine Industries, at the recent Society of Petroleum Engineers Annual Technical Conference & Exhibition (ATCE) in Amsterdam.  By using Viewport, there has not been a quicker, more comprehensive way to document evidence of conformance or to spot gaps in your business compliance efforts. Radial SG Innovation Day 2014 Explores Latest IT Advances in Energy Industry

Versatec Energy took part in Radial SG’s “Innovation Day” 2014 on 3 October at the EYE Centre in Amsterdam. This special event inspired and educated Oil and Gas professionals active in Projects, Operations, Engineering, HSE and IT/Information Management. The Innovation Day program included presentations of current and future developments, talks by industry speakers and technology demonstrations. (more)

Versatec Takes Part in World’s Largest Energy Industry Event

Versatec Energy and one of its partners, CGM, demonstrated Viewport on the D3 Collaboration Desk at the ABB Booth during the recent ONS 2014 held August in Stavanger, Norway. Now in its fifth decade, the ONS Conference and Exhibition is the biggest meeting venue worldwide for international Energy Industry professionals and attracted over 90,000 visitors to this year’s event. ONS 2014’s main theme explored “Changes” in the Energy Industry since ONS’ launch in 1974. Viewport, with its technologically-advanced capabilities, was a fitting example of the exciting new possibilities that now exist in the industry.

Versatec Energy and BRZO: Your Partner in Compliance

Versatec Energy can assist BRZO companies with all areas of compliance. Heavy industries, or companies dealing with dangerous substances (chemicals), must comply with the SEVESO Directive. Versatec’s Advanced BowTie Course Integrates Latest Risk-Management Techniques

Environmental/pipeline engineers, HSE experts, and Quality and Compliance managers took part in Versatec Energy’s two-day Advanced BowTie Course, “Operational Barrier Management”, held in April 2014 at Versatec’s headquarters in Woerden, The Netherlands. ‘BowTie’ is a risk-management technique to analyse, visualise and improve the operational situation of an installation or during an activity in regard to safe practices. Versatec Employee Receives Major Process Industry Award

Versatec Energy’s André Goossens received the 2013 Ultimo Award for his creative use of Ultimo Software Maintenance Management Solutions to help the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Department of a fly-ash terminal achieve their compliance objectives. Goossens also was invited to give a presentation on his award at the “Productie Proces Automatisering” (PPA) Exposition held December 2013 in The Netherlands for process industry and automation specialists. Versatec Develops Operator Training Package for Total

Versatec Energy created an operators’ training program in 2013 for Total’s K4-Z development project located in the North Sea’s Dutch sector. K4-Z comprises two subsea wells connected to Total’s existing K5 production and transport facilities. Our employees created two main operating manuals, subsea and topside, for the two wells completed with subsea Xmas Trees. (more)
