Complete your inspections and maintenance directly from a tablet or smartphone – approved for Zone 1 and Zone 2. Take photos of found non-conformities, re-position equipment directly on General Arrangement drawings, display manuals and certificates digitally – in short; work smarter!

Simplified, this is how it works: SafeEx converts your current checklists via our web system. These are synchronized to the handheld device, ready for routines. The data gathered can even be transferred to your ERP system (ERP integration) through our web system.

 

SafeEx is a stand-alone equipment inspection and maintenance software and an extension to an asset management system / enterprise resource management system. The SafeEx software provides a full electronic audit trail, detailing equipment data, changes, inspection results, history, reports and much more.
It manages inspections and maintenance routines via a web system, where a user, e.g. a Project Supervisor, manages the daily tasks.

The tasks are downloaded to the handheld device, which guides the inspectors and maintenance staff though the job that needs doing. Hereafter, the handheld device is synchronized with the web system and all results of the inspections and maintenance tasks performed are uploaded – along with any register data updates.

The SafeEx system consists of the following base components:

Data storage facilities
SafeEx has as all other software tools, a need to store data. Data is stored in our server located at Hetzners’ prime data center in Germany. The SafeEx server features a modern backup and recovery system, enabling advanced specific recovery or rollbacks.

We can also provide an optional on site server solution.

RFID Chips
The RFID chips are a fundamental component of the SafeEx system as they provide an excellent measure of control, enabling the system to determine whether the Inspector is inspecting the intended equipment or the neighbor equipment. SafeEx can utilize most RFID types.

Handheld device(s)
Another equally fundamental component is the handheld device, which the inspector uses while performing his inspections etc.. SafeEx currently supports a range of different types of handheld devices, all with on board RFID scanners.
